Terms of service

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Marmaduke Shoppe online store. By placing an order, you agree to and are bound by these terms. If you are unwilling to comply with these terms then you may not use Marmaduke Shoppe online store.

PRICING AND PAYMENT

All prices on the Marmaduke Shoppe online store are given in New Zealand Dollars exclusive of delivery costs.

We accept payment by direct transfer (from NZ customers only), credit card and Afterpay. Credit card payments are processed by Shopify Payments. No card details are stored by Shopify Payments. 

Marmaduke Shoppe online store has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable. Please see the shipping section for more information about delivery costs and delivery dates.

AVAILABILITY

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. We have a physical store which shares the stock inventory so if an item in our physical store is purchased and sold the same time an order for the item online is processed then the online item will not be available. In this case, we will inform you as soon as possible and do our best to fulfil the order, cancel the order or help in any other way we can.

Some products are only available to customers in New Zealand due to shipping restrictions, this will be specified in the description of the product page. 

ONLINE PROCESS

We must receive payment in full before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Items will then be dispatched once payment has been received. For more information regarding delivery dates and times please refer to the shipping section below.

CANCELLATIONS

Once an order has been placed you are welcome to cancel or make order adjustments prior to order dispatch. Note: orders are typically dispatched same or next day.  

CONTENT ACCURACY

We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of publication. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.

Prices on the site are current at the time of display and subject to variation without notice. We will do our best to display accurate descriptions and pricing but are unable to warrant the site be error-free. We shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the products on this website.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

We are committed to protecting our customer’s privacy. Marmaduke Shoppe will never distribute any personal information to third parties under any circumstance, including those who subscribe to our mailing list. The information we collect is used solely to process your order and stay in touch with you.

Joining the Marmaduke Shoppe mailing list is optional, although recommended. It will allow us to keep you up to date with the latest info including what’s new in store. If you have signed up to our mailing list and would like to unsubscribe simply click the unsubscribe link in the email, or email us with unsubscribe in the subject area, and you will be removed immediately.

 

SHIPPING POLICY

We ship New Zealand wide and Internationally. All shipping prices are in NZD.

We strive to do our best for the planet; orders are shipped in 100% compostable bags and oversized items are packaged in cardboard boxes. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Be sure to check your Junk mail folder!

Please contact us to enquire about the delivery costs and lead times for heavy and bulky items, such as furniture, as these shipping costs are quoted by arrangement. Please select 'PICK-UP INSTORE' at the checkout, and we will be in touch to arrange collection or delivery.  

NEW ZEALAND:

Standard shipping is $8.50 or $13.50 for rural delivery, delicate items that need to be boxed are a flat rate of $25. Small rugs and other oversized items have a flat rate of $40.

Please note that these prices cover most purchases. For extra large items or purchases, we reserve the right to charge extra as applicable.

Our shipping is overnight if ordered before 11am. Orders placed after 11am Friday and through the weekend will be shipped on Monday. Oversized items/orders with multiple boxes are sent economy with a delivery target of 2-3 business days.

Please note, if New Zealand post is experiencing delays in your area this is beyond our control.

Furniture is set to PICK UP ONLY, we are happy to arrange shipping on a case by case basis so get in touch with us to organise this.

For international orders, please contact us to arrange shipping and rates.

 

ONLINE RETURNS POLICY

If for some reason you are not happy with your online purchase, you have 7 days from the date your item was received to return it. You must notify us at hello@marmadukeshoppe.co.nz within 3 days of receiving your item that you are intending to return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused with original tags and packaging, and receipt or proof of purchase. *Please note special order furniture may not be refundable.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If it is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item/s. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

All sale items are final sale and non-refundable or exchangeable for cash or store credit.  

 

IN-STORE RETURNS POLICY

If you change your mind on a non-sale purchase made in-store, you may return it for an exchange or store credit within 7 days.

Items must be unworn and in brand new condition with tags attached and proof of purchase.

All sale items are final sale and not returnable or refundable.
